- The site is located in Stokestown County Rosscommon and includes Bawn Stret, Church Street, parts of Elphin Street and parts of Bridge Street. The proposed works comprise of the following: - Urban Realm improvements including: - Changes to layouts at Bawn Street, Church Street, Elphin Street and Bridge Street - Changes to surface finishes of footpaths, new finishes include granite paving, exposed aggregate concrete paving - The removal of selected car park areas - The installation of public lighting - The installation of new regulatory and pedestrian signage as well as road markings - Changes in the road pavement, new surface courses - Excavation works and reinstatement of pavement layers. - The re-location of some underground services and utilities - Adjustments to existing drainage network and provision of new surface water drainage and rain gardens in Bawn Street - Landscaping
